This notice describes how CMP EUROCOSTRUZIONI SA processes personal data of users of the website cmp-eurocostruzioni.ch, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Categories of data processed
We process the following categories of data:
• Data voluntarily provided through the contact form: first name, last name, company, e-mail, telephone, location, type of request, subject, message.
• Browsing data automatically collected in aggregated form (anonymised IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of visit), solely to ensure the security and correct operation of the website.
The website does not request or collect special categories of personal data (art. 5 lit. c FADP).
3. Purpose and legal basis
Data is processed for the following purposes:
• responding to information and contact requests (pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request);
• fulfilling legal, tax and accounting obligations;
• ensuring the security of the website and preventing fraudulent activities (legitimate interest of the controller).
4. Method and place of processing
Data is processed with electronic and organisational tools capable of ensuring its security, integrity and confidentiality. The servers used to host the website and to send transactional e-mails may be located in Switzerland, in the European Economic Area or in third countries providing an adequate level of protection under the FADP and the GDPR.
5. Data retention
Contact data is retained for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and, thereafter, for the period required by legal obligations (as a rule, no longer than 10 years for accounting-relevant documentation). Browsing data is retained in aggregated form for a maximum of 12 months.
6. Disclosure to third parties
Data is not disseminated. It may only be disclosed to:
• internal and external collaborators tasked with processing (technical, legal, tax and IT advisors) bound by confidentiality obligations;
• competent authorities when required by law;
• technology service providers (hosting, transactional e-mail delivery) acting as data processors.
7. Rights of the data subject
Within the limits set by the FADP and, where applicable, by the GDPR, the data subject has the right to:
• obtain confirmation of the existence of processing and access their data;
• request rectification, updating or deletion;
• object to processing on legitimate grounds;
• request restriction of processing;
• receive their data in a structured format and transmit it to another controller (portability);
• lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch) or with the supervisory authority of their country of residence.
